THANK YOU FOR FEASTING WITH US...Just in case you are not on our mailing list

Hello everyone

The MAGS committee would like to say a big thank you to everyone who came along to the very first MAGS event for two years, and the launch of Moretonhampstead Growing Together project. So many people generously gave time, energy, ideas and spare change (the costs of the event were covered) and between us all we made it a resounding success.

We shared a positive vision of how we would like the future of Moreton to be including more age-inclusive fun social events and more food grown!

There was lots of enthusiasm for all of the proposed Moretonhampstead Growing Together projects, and we'll keep you updated on progress. The projects are:
A community orchard
Hanging baskets, growing suitable edible plants, in town
More social events
MAGS to be involved in a Moretonhampstead community energy company.

We will be setting up an orchard working group and a hanging baskets group and we will be in touch with you about that.

The next event will probably be in the autumn - TBC
With the transformation of the Cottage Hospital into a Health Hub, MAGS is inviting Dr Macloud, an Exeter GP, to present a talk on sustainable Health Care which might give us some ideas about the sort of service we would like to see. He presented a similar talk to Transition Town Exeter a few months ago. Watch out for more details!

If you have ideas about the positive and practical changes you would like to see in Moreton, would you consider joining the MAGS committee? To find out more, chat to Astrid, Jane, Keith or Chrissy if you see one of us in Moreton, email magsmoreton@gmail.com or send a message through Facebook.

Please keep your ideas coming in and share our news and events with everyone. We are online at www.magsmoreton.blogspot.com andhttps://www.facebook.com/pages/Moretonhampstead-Action-Group-for-Sustainability-MAGS.

You are all amazing – thank you for getting involved
Best wishes
The MAGS committee
Astrid Arnold, Jane Willis, Keith Morris and Chrissy Kebbell

PS We have some lost property left over from the Feast: some bowls and big plates that we are sure will be missed. Please let us know if you could be the owner of one of these! Also, a large steel bowl used for the smoothie fruit is missing, did anyone take it home by accident? Many thanks.
